Protivin Sawmill

The Protivin sawmill is located in the South Bohemian Region at the very beginning of the village of the same name, approximately 10 km from the town of Pisek in the direction of Ceske Budejovice. The sawmill processes saw cuts of spruce and pine with an annual cutting capacity of 35,000 m3 in lengths of 3.7m and 4m. It is mainly pallet sawn timber and sawn timber for subsequent production of planed material and packaging material.

The sawmill has 6 drying rooms, each with a capacity of 50 m3 of sawn timber. The drying rooms are heated by heat from the company's own wood waste boiler house, with its own bark and wood chips as fuel.

The Protivin sawmill includes a handling warehouse where raw logs are handled and sorted for further processing. The handling warehouse has its own siding for loading wagons.
